Capital City Farmers Market’s WINTER SEASON MARKET is open from 10am-1pm at Caledonia Spirits Distillery, 116 Gin Lane, Montpelier, every 2nd and 4th Saturday, December 2023 through April 2024. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the building and masks are optional. Free parking, GMT pickup/drop-off and EBT services available.

Our SUMMER SEASON market is located at 133 State Street (the tax dept. parking lot), Montpelier. The summer market is open every Saturday, May-October. The market is outdoors, from 9am-1pm...rain, snow or shine. Check our vendor list above for a list of the vendors (and their contact info) you’ll see each week. Parking is available along State Street, as well as in any of the state-owned lots across the street. Handicapped spaces are the two bagged meters closest to the market entrance. Green Mt. Transit offers pickup/drop-off service via MyRide. A portable toilet is open during market hours. Need help with curbside pickup? Email us! manager@montpelierfarmersmarket.com.

CCFM’s THANKSGIVING MARKET is held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving every year. This year, the market will be November 18th, 10am-2pm, at the Montpelier High School gym, 5 High School Drive, Montpelier.

 

Updates

Our 2020 Thanksgiving Market took place in a 6,000 square foot tent on November 21st, 2020 on the State House Lawn. Hours were 10am-3pm. Sponsored by The Montpelier Foundation, National Life, VSECU, Union Mutual, Vermont Mutual, Northfield Savings Bank and Hunger Mt. Co-op.

  1. Masks are optional for all. If you’ve forgotten yours but would like one, be sure to ask at the market table, as we might have an extra!

  1. If you’re bringing a pooch to the outdoor market, please keep them close to you on a short leash, and be mindful of those around you that may have trouble walking. Dogs are not allowed inside the winter season indoor market.

  2. Please keep 6 feet of distance between yourself and other shoppers/vendors while in the market.

  3. Please wait patiently in line, keeping distance, while waiting to approach a vendor.
